DISCOVER OUR MINISTRIESThe men’s ministry exists to promote spirituality amongst the men at Elim Pentecostal Church, Mitcham (EPCM).
We seek to unite the men in fellowship and Christian service based on biblical principles with a total dependence on the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, to attain the biblical standards of a man who fears and seeks the Lord.
The meetings provide opportunities for:

EPCM men endeavour to live a lifestyle of worship including prayer, singing and encouraging each other in the Lord.
Women of Faith is an all-encompassing Ladies Ministry devoted to spiritual growth, fellowship, Christian service and supporting the wider vision of Elim Mitcham.
The name Women of Faith spans from the period when all the women from the Camberwell Group of Churches came together in fellowship and brought heaven down.
Here at Elim Mitcham, Women of Faith is an all-encompassing Ladies Ministry that exists to promote spirituality amongst the Ladies at Elim Mitcham.
We seek to unite the Ladies in fellowship and Christian service based on biblical principles.
We provide support amongst the Ladies in the church, in our own small way to complement what the church does on a larger scale. We also support the vision of our bigger Elim Mitcham family in every way.
We provide opportunities for:
Wherein we encounter the tangible presence of our Most High God.
Worship which is sincere and a lifestyle of total surrender and thanksgiving to our Most High God. We do not want to offer worship of mere singing, but sacrificial worship from a place of genuine brokenness, which is an acceptable sweet-smelling aroma to our God.
Total dependence on the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, to attain the biblical standards of a virtuous woman.
Every year, Mothering Sunday in March is dedicated to the Ladies to celebrate as the women’s day, which we uphold highly.
Our meetings are always very well patronised and we commend all the ladies for that.
We look forward to some exciting events which we put up and aim to meet bi-monthly.
A relaxed, engaging and interactive environment where young people can grow spiritually and participate confidently.
The open and interactive teaching style encourages the youth to engage and participate in topical discussions and lead group sessions.
This style helps develop their confidence and interaction in prayer and communal fellowship.
Bible passages and characters are used to reinforce and support the youth spiritual learning experience, while real life testimonies from the youth leaders bring topics to life.
The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly without undermining the seriousness of worship or Bible study. The Youth participate in various social events and activities.
Our Children's Ministry is a vibrant family community where children learn God's Word in a fun and engaging environment.
The children begin the service with the adult congregation before moving to our dedicated Kingdom Champions rooms, where they enjoy Bible teachings tailored to their age group.
Here, the children learn to pray, learn to worship God through songs and learn about God’s love through Bible lessons, interactive discussions and fun activities.
It is their safe space where they can share their thoughts, build friendships, and develop godly character and behaviour.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
We are called Kingdom Champions because we believe God has a purpose for every child and that they will go on to do exploits for His Kingdom and in every area of their life as they grow from grace to grace.
Throughout the year, we provide a variety of engaging events and celebrations for our Kingdom Champions.
Our ministry is supported by an incredible team of Youth Ministry volunteers who have a passion for God and for serving children. We are also blessed by dedicated adult volunteers who faithfully assist during events and special programmes, helping us create a welcoming and enriching experience for every child.
We are passionate about reaching the lost in our community.
The focus of the group is on outreach to the community, in obedience to Christ’s mandate to go out and proclaim the good news, win souls unto Christ and make disciples of all nations.
Christ’s call to go, make disciples and take the good news beyond the walls of the church remains at the heart of our evangelism ministry.
We train and encourage the church to fulfil the Great Commission Christ gave to the disciples in Matthew 28, Mark 16 and Luke 24.
